Your auction donation does more than you think

The William A. Harrison Jr. Foundation is hosting Wild at Heart : A Party for the Animals on Oct. 10. Last year, we raised over $70,000 to benefit the animal welfare programs of our creation, Furbish Thrift.
In just over two years, we have awarded $258,000 in cash grants and other financial assistance to small area animal welfare nonprofits. We provide more than 6,000 lbs. of free pet food each month, with plans to double that (sadly, based on current need). Most recently, we have helped Henrico County Shelter achieve No Kill status with our Fixin’ To Go Home program ~ and this program will be replicated for other shelters around the state in the coming year.
Will you donate to this year’s auction?
The Wild at Heart auction last year raised over $10,000, and we’re shooting for more this year. It is professionally managed by Grindstaff’s Auction and Marketing Group, with the online bidding reaching their thousands of customers in addition to our market. The auction will be available online for a week in advance of the event.
